If there's a pair of pants that I overuse next to my maong jeans, it would definitely be my khaki. It's as versatile as the blue ol' jeans as you can pair it with basically anything! Here's the first of the 3 looks I came up with!

Personally, I think anything in the shade of blue goes well with khakis. Everytime I see people wearing this combination, I feel an inner gratitude and satisfaction (LOL!) Sporting these colors altogether is one of the best decisions you'll ever make in your life. Like seriously. One of the best color combinations! Go for this look and you'll surely come as neat and clean!

Overdue post from our third and last day in Baguio! Ditched the sweaters and pants and opted for a shirt and shorts instead since we went back to hot Manila in the afternoon. Bipolar Manila weather is bipolar. Last 2 weeks it was too hot, last week it was cold. What could be the weather the upcoming weeks?

One color, different hues. Blue will always be relevant to my life. Half of my clothes are in this color and I’m still continuously adding more and more of it. Button ups are my current thing: I’m investing in this type of clothing as this will be my uniform once I start working. Just a small tip: always be very particular with the fit, color and style. I tend to buy classic ones in pastel colors coz I know I can wear them years after years (not to mention that pastels can make everyone look clean and tidy).

Releasing my inner geek through this shirt. Lol just kidding, I'm the exact opposite of geek. I've always been a mediocre; being satisfied with just a passing grade. But I can't help myself from buying this shirt cos 1.) It's on sale 2.) I immediately pictured out how will I style it the moment I laid my eyes on it.

I don't usually leave the house in shorts. But I when I saw this pair online and it's in my now-favorite Oxblood hue, I ran out of good reasons not to buy it.Wore big ass frames to complete my pretensions. Is this geeky enough? I'd totally wear this at school (when I get back to studying!) What do you think?

In Transit

What I wore when I watched the indie film Transit with my friends. The movie was so nice – no wonder why it bagged 10 awards including Best Film and Best Director under the New Breed Category.

Coincidentally, the movie title greatly describes my OOTD. I had to commute going to CCP so I had to wear something that will allow me to move freely but without sacrificing my over-all look! You know you look presentable when you catch people, through your peripheral vision, looking at you for more than 5 seconds, lol.

Topman jacket | Since I know it will be cold inside the theater (the rain made it even colder), bringing a jacket was a great idea. As I’ve said before, it’s a must to bring a jacket/hoodie/cardigan these days since the weather is really unpredictable. Never forget your umbrellas, too! Bawal magka-sakit!

Casio watch | my default watch given to me by Cherrie and Oya during my birthday! Thanks guys! And for always saying “ang ganda ng watch mo!” everytime you see me wearing this.

W brown shoes | a.k.a. my current favorite shoes! It’s been with me for just a month and yet I’ve overused it already! I tend to murder my newly-purchased shoes. Also because I’ve been wanting to have this kind of footwear for a loooong time! And this pair being in my favorite color doesn’t help! If only I had all the money in this world, I will buy all the other colors right away. For me, this collection is the brand’s best by far.

Double Denim

Those blue suede shoes with oxblood soles are the main inspiration of the whole outfit. Denim on denim ensemble in two different shades- it's of course on purpose as I don't want to look like a walking piece of maong. This look is a mix of  rugged and dressy- rugged from the top all the way to jeans and dressy with these suede shoes. What do you think?

Baseball kid

You know you're doomed when it's already past 1 am (it's 1:37am as of this writing) and you can't sleep and you have to wake up at eight to do errands. I blame myself for sleeping at the car while on our way home! I'm a MASA kind of person - MASAndal tulog.

Anyway, this is what I wore today! It's the time of the year again to wear sweaters, pullovers, long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, jackets or anything that will keep us warm! I love the cold weather yes no doubt, but the rain? Not at all. I mean, it's too hassle especially when you're outside your home.

I feel like being a baseball kid today so I got my baseball shirt and cap! Where's my baseball bat though??

I've been stressed the past few weeks coz I'm preparing for a big event of my life lol and it's happening in less than a week's time! I still have lots of preparations to do and my school schedule just won't let me focus on them. So imagine how frustrated and pressured I am! Hell week is right around the corner with paper works and quizzes coming my way! "No one is too busy, it's only a matter of priorities." Keep that in mind, Ralph. Calm down now.

The vest

This vest used to be a jacket. (See outfit post here.) I just transformed it into a vest so that I can use it more often this summer. I like how it turned out!

The jeans I'm wearing here actually belongs to my dad. I just have it altered for it to fit me perfectly. This type of jeans is a timeless piece- you can wear it anytime because it never gets out of style! It's also very versatile- it can pass off as casual and formal wear!

PS. I only used my iPhone 4s (turned on the HDR settings) in taking these photos and I was really surprised with the quality! My MMC's experiencing a major trouble in it's life right now. I hope *it* gets through it. I have lots of un-transferred photos there and I'm having a getaway tonight so I really need it! MUST. BUY. SPARE. ASAP.

Sunday family day at the mall. Was only wearing polo shirt and jeans combo (my usual wears) but then it started to rain heavily so I had to grab this jacket to keep myself warm! Decided to pair my white tee with distressed jeans and sneakers to keep the look from being too formal.

Today marks the start of our prelim week so I stayed up late last night to finish reviewing for my exam only to find out that classes will be suspended again in UST! Well I think I’m getting old because class suspensions don’t make me happy at all. Reason is that I’m already in 4th year college so I’m making the most out of it! But of course, they made a right decision for suspending the classes because rain keeps on falling and getting harder! Safety of the students before anything else!

To those who are in a safe place: let’s all be thankful and say a little prayer for those who don’t have a shelter and are affected by the heavy downpour. Safety reminders: Make sure that your cell phones are fully charge! If not, charge them while there’s still a power supply - you’ll be needing them in case of emergency (click this for emergency hotlines). Attended my relatives’ silver wedding anniversary this afternoon. Most of the couples I know who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary (including my parents) did not renew their vows, but Tita Marilyn and Tito Dave just did. It was a pretty big celebration - with over 500 guests! I love going in these kinds of celebration cuz it somehow proves that love can last a lifetime. Whaaat?! :p praying for more and more years for their marriage!

First day in HK! First of all, my eyes are like that cuz I wasn’t able to get some sleep before our flight. Dunno why. It’s not because of excitement, I can tell. The pants actually belong to my dad but since he’s not using it anymore, I decided to arbor it, haha. Just have it altered so that it will fit me perfectly :) I got these pair of studded brogues while I was in Greenhills with friends. They are 50% off! Definitely a steal! As I was shopping in Mong Kok, salesmen and salesladies of shoe stores kept on staring at ‘em for more than 5 seconds lol. Let’s just say that HK don’t have these kind of shoes since they’re only available in Brazil as said by Shoelution’s salesladies. (I feel so cool having these hahaha) More on our first day on my next post!
