Celebrated the Chinese New Year by roaming around Baguio! Tried to wear something red cuz they say it’s lucky :)
Wore a lot of colors for our third day since I’m into black, white and gray during our first and second day. My shirt’s statement says it all: Make Some Noise - made some noise through colors :)

Back to blogging after almost 2 weeks! Been very busy in school cuz our prelim week has just ended and now I am praying for the best results of my exams! Anyway, went to Baguio for the long weekend to stress out and to celebrate the birthday of my sister. Left home January 21, 9:15am, had lunch at a local restaurant in Tarlac at 12:20 and reached Baguio around 4pm. Yeah I jotted down the time haha. For the first day, we didn’t roam around cuz we arrived quite late already. So we just stayed in our rented house and I thank wifi for saving us from boredom!

Celebrated the New Year’s Eve by simply attending mass and having dinner with the family. Around 11pm we started lighting our fireworks (we don’t have firecrackers this year which for me is good!) and watched others from our neighborhood as well! Talking about free entertainment here haha.
Feels like a boss with all these cool photos taken by my ate :) Happy New Year!

It’s the most beautiful time of the year! Lights filled the streets bringing so much cheer… ♫ okay stop with this Bieber fever haha We do the same thing every Christmas - Lunch at my lola’s (aunt of my dad) house, merienda at my grandparents’ (father-side) house and reunion with my relatives from my mother side. So it’s more of a tradition of our family. Christmas is truly the most beautiful time of the year cuz we get to share and spread love to everyone. Our simple acts of giving money to the carolers and giving gifts to our inaanaks and loved ones mean a lot. But as I always say, Christmas isn’t only just about giving and receiving gifts but also celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

What a perfect song for Christmas Eve. Know why? Cuz it’s title is Christmas Eve! Lol anywayy, went to church for the last of the 9 Christmas masses (I was able to complete it again! How about you?) then headed to a relative’s house for a simple Noche Buena then went home. We always spend our Noche Buena with relatives and it’s always a simple dinner. Personally, I like simple celebrations more than the elegant ones. As long as my family is complete, I’m more than satisfied :)

We have the coolest Parish on earth! Why? Coz we, churchgoers, are required to wear the same color/hue everytime we attend mass. This “tradition” started 2 or 3 years ago by our former assistant-to-the-parish-priest, Fr. Neil. Colors are that of the rainbow - ROYGBIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet in case you don’t know lol). Only one color per day, not that you wear all the colors altogether like a jejemon haha. And since there are only 7 colors of the rainbow, our parish priest decides what colors to add :) Wait, are we the only ones doing this? Nvrmnd.
I look bigger in stripes :(
Few days left before Christmas! Let’s not forget that it’s not only about giving and receiving gifts but also about celebrating the birth of our Lord :)
