CCT, Tagaytay

I just got back from my 3 days and 2 nights retreat at CCT, Tagaytay at the time I am writing this. The place was incredibly enormous, scenic and serene; the cool weather just made our whole stay more fun – I wish the weather in Manila is the same as that of Tagaytay’s throughout the year so that we can make the most of all our pullovers. Snow, come in the Philippines!!

Anyway, let me give you a quick sight of the tremendous home away from home.

This is what you'll see upon entering the area. No, not the girl in red.

Turning left leads you to this picturesque view of greenfields and vast sky. Oh, look at the lands we can never own... yet.

Establishment where we gather to have the most scrumptious meals!! No, just kidding.

In the same area is this hall where we had class presentations. I believe it also serves as chapel as evident by the presence of the cross.

In front of the dining hall is the building called Pabilyon. The lanai looks so cozy! Perfect for coffee breaks and reflecting.

Named after the prophets, these buildings contain functional rooms that can fit up to 6 persons, complete with amenities such as beds, cabinets, ceiling fan, air-conditioner (which we never used because if we did, we would have frozen to death), and a private comfort room.

Welcome to our messy room! Taken on the third day right before leaving :(

Peeking through the windows gives you more of God's amazing works of art. Don't you just love waking up to this scenery?! I miss the smell of fresh, cool air already!

Bonfire on our second night of stay.

In the afternoon of the same day, a beautiful rainbow appeared. Simple joys! Just a sign that after being knocked by a storm, there's still hope and a bright tomorrow. It doesn't matter how hard we fall, what matters most is how we confidently stand up again.
