YULETIDE SEASON: RED

Is it really Christmas Eve already?? It’s the time of the year again to wolf out on scrumptious Noche Buena without feeling any guilt! Well I never feel guilty whenever I eat, lol. Some may have prepared for this night, like working out or skipping meals but me? I am always conscious about my body size but I don’t do things to prevent myself from gaining weight. But I’m claiming that 2014 will be the time for me to be… hot.

Yuletide season is about festive colors namely Red, Green and Yellow, to name a few. Red is definitely my bias as injecting this color to your outfit makes it look more Christmas-y. Can you imagine this look without the red cardigan?

Last day in Hong Kong! Just went to Mong Kok for some shopping- a lot of cheap finds! You just have to be good in bargaining to get an item in a real low price. I’ll post the details on my last day there next!

Tried to wear happy colors for our 2nd day in HK coz we went to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland!! Yes it was hot but I still managed to survive because what I was wearing were all just light and comfortable. More about my 2nd day here!

Unripened Orange

Went to my uncle’s wedding last Sunday, March 18, and here’s what I came up with. If you’re curious about the title, well it’s because the motif of the wedding was Orange but since I’ve got no clothes in that hue, decided to wear Greens which is the color of an unripened Orange. Hahaha witty me!

Can’t believe school year’s over!! Praying for the best results of my grades. Lord, please do bless them :) Summer break officially starts today!!

Varsity player on a new year's eve

Celebrated the New Year’s Eve by simply attending mass and having dinner with the family. Around 11pm we started lighting our fireworks (we don’t have firecrackers this year which for me is good!) and watched others from our neighborhood as well! Talking about free entertainment here haha.

Christmas Day

It’s the most beautiful time of the year! Lights filled the streets bringing so much cheer… ♫ okay stop with this Bieber fever haha We do the same thing every Christmas - Lunch at my lola’s (aunt of my dad) house, merienda at my grandparents’ (father-side) house and reunion with my relatives from my mother side. So it’s more of a tradition of our family. Christmas is truly the most beautiful time of the year cuz we get to share and spread love to everyone. Our simple acts of giving money to the carolers and giving gifts to our inaanaks and loved ones mean a lot. But as I always say, Christmas isn’t only just about giving and receiving gifts but also celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

GREEN DAY

We have the coolest Parish on earth! Why? Coz we, churchgoers, are required to wear the same color/hue everytime we attend mass. This “tradition” started 2 or 3 years ago by our former assistant-to-the-parish-priest, Fr. Neil. Colors are that of the rainbow - ROYGBIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet in case you don’t know lol). Only one color per day, not that you wear all the colors altogether like a jejemon haha. And since there are only 7 colors of the rainbow, our parish priest decides what colors to add :) Wait, are we the only ones doing this? Nvrmnd.

Few days left before Christmas! Let’s not forget that it’s not only about giving and receiving gifts but also about celebrating the birth of our Lord :)

Portage Indians

Went to another Christmas Shopping/bonding with la familia. There were a lot of people in the mall it makes me sick. The mall was jam-packed maybe because people knew I’m coming hahahahaha lol I can already visualize how malls would be like during Christmas Day where people would come and watch the annual Metro Manila Film Festival. What you guys planning to watch first? :) I’m thinking of Enteng Ng Ina Mo and prolly Segunda Mano.

It was cold that day cuz it’s raining so I pulled of this hoodie that I got from a thrift shop!

Hoodie + skinny jeans + Skytop shoes = Lakas maka-Justin Bieber ng suot ko hahaha

Let’s all pray that it won’t rain on Christmas Day!

Black Christmas

Long day. And I mean LONG. Met with my friend Nikka at Rob Midtown around 1pm. Went back home to change clothes then headed to UST for Chivas’ (my first college barkada) Christmas Party. Headed to Starbucks with LJ to meet Nikki and Kim and to wait for Nikka and Bernard but they were so tagal so I decided to go to Paskuhan with my former blockmates but it end up LJ, Nikki and I having an ultimate bonding haha okay I said a lot. Here’s what I wore:

Shades of blue last Thursday. Shades of black last Friday. Black black black and blue beat me til I’m numb…. ♫ CORNY.

Dunno why I suddenly turn my eyes on that side.. Hmmm.
